• What a guide concludes is the likely cause
• Whether we recommend calling a technician
• Whether a brand is mentioned favourably or at all

No advertiser reviews content before it is published, and no one can pay to appear in, or be removed from, a troubleshooting guide.

Ad Placement

Ads are placed where they do not interfere with reading: they are never styled to look like navigation, never placed inside a list of troubleshooting steps, and never made to resemble something you are meant to click as part of fixing your appliance. Every guide is designed to be fully usable with ads blocked.

Affiliate Links

This site does not currently use affiliate links or receive commission on parts or repair services. If that changes, this page will say so, and any affiliate relationship will be disclosed on the pages it applies to.
